The Sled at Fielder Farm

The Sled is a newly constructed upside down house nestled in the woods at the base of Camels Hump. It is an ideal gathering place for couples, families and large groups looking to enjoy the natural beauty of Vermont.

Living & Kitchen Area

The 2nd floor living and kitchen area is comfortably furnished and well equipped. The wood stove keeps it cozy in winter and the upside down configuration of the kitchen, living area and 2nd floor deck catch the afternoon sun and cool breezes in summer. Very near the Camels Hump Trailhead, Sugarbush, Mad River, Bolton Valley, Huntington Gorge, Bristol Falls and the Catamount Trail.

The Bedrooms

Three bedrooms with similar appointments, one off the second floor living space and two downstairs, make sharing the Sled uncomplicated. Each with its own personality, these queen bedrooms are simply furnished with new, name brand mattresses.

The fourth bedroom and its bunkbed is ideal for kids and extra guests. All beds and baths are supplied with quality cotton linens and towels.

Bathrooms and More

A half bathroom on each floor plus a stand alone room with a walk-in shower again make sharing the Sled easy. Extra linens, towels, beach towels and blankets are kept in the laundry area on the first floor for the convenience of our guests. The entry is equipped with a built-in bench and bountiful hooks so the whole gang can gear up together.
